Black Lion Hotel - Llanfair Talhaiarn

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the attention to detail was impeccable. From the well-presented rooms to the thoughtful complimentary amenities such as toothbrushes and razors, they really went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Secondly, the hotel's location next to the river was simply stunning. We were able to enjoy peaceful walks and take in the beautiful scenery. Lastly, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The attention to detail is evident with complimentary bathroom extras such as high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and more. The staff are welcoming and provide useful advice on nearby attractions. The breakfast is simply outstanding, with a freshly cooked Welsh breakfast that is plentiful and of excellent quality.

The location of the hotel was great, it was situated close to the city center and offered easy access to public transportation. the room had a nice view of the city.

The overall cleanliness of the hotel was subpar. the room was dusty and the linens had holes and stains.
